What is Laparoscopic Surgery?

Laparoscopy is a type of telescope (endoscope) used to perform key-hole surgery inside the abdomen. Through small incisions (2–3 holes), a video camera and instruments are inserted to perform operations on a monitor — avoiding large cuts entirely.
